Nostalgic

Soo many memories come rushing back to me as I type this.


First year (of university that is) seems so distant. Relaxing on the lawns at campus today reminded me of how time passes buy so quickly. It felt amazing! I've learnt soo much and cherished so many good times with lots of friends and people I've met at campus. Being at Wits has not only allowed me to grow as a person but also enjoy the good times of student life! Basking in the sun, the occasional off campus shopping spree, chill sessions at the Bio-Soc on Fridays and much more!


I think what aided to my feelings of Nostalgia was the epic return of Rascals (not so epic for me as I soon read the lable and saw that the product contained Beef gelatin) *sigh. Rascals were super awesome when I was younger. I especially liked that huge rascal figurine that was filled with rascals :) and always trying to throw a few up and see if I could catch them in my mouth lol (I think most of us still do this from time to time with peanuts etc).






To add more to my Nostalgia Linkin Park is coming to SA (most people already know this) although I had to mention it since I've been listening to Linkin Park since I was tiny (Grade 4 about 10 years old). Successfully I can say that I do have Linkin Park tickets in my possession!!

Sometimes we just need to rid ourselves of the hustle and bustle of city life for some QT and downtime. I always enjoy going to the Stoffberg area in Mpumalanga as my parents have a farm there and its close to Middelburg where I spend most of my holidays. I recently read about a cheap and effective rather quick and interesting method called "news paper nails". Here's a step by step method on how you can use news paper laying around in your house for some gorgeous nails. The Merch (merchandise) aka what you will need (felt so gangster typing merch lol) Rubbing alcohol ( normal vodka will do) Squares of newspaper, cut to rectangular pieces to fit your nails White/light pink/nude nail polish (I used a light candy floss pink.)
