Luscious Lips Brrrrrr!!! The cold has finally set in. Which also means chapped or cracked dry lips.. but don't despair, I have some easy inexpensive time efficient solutions that you can do at home. Some helpful tips for lips in need of some TLC If you find yourself licking your lips often during the day, make sure that you aren't thirsty before assuming your lips are in need of moisture. Before purchasing any lip care products make sure you read the label. Try not to get a lip-ice that is too oily as this will leave a sticky residue behind when you mug or bottle when drinking fluids. When purchasing a lip care product ensure that they don't leave an ugly taste in your mouth as more often than not you are likely to ingest some at some point. Soo many memories come rushing back to me as I type this. First year (of university that is) seems so distant. Relaxing on the lawns at campus today reminded me of how time passes buy so quickly. It felt amazing! I've learnt soo much and cherished so many good times with lots of friends and people I've met at campus. Being at Wits has not only allowed me to grow as a person but also enjoy the good times of student life! Basking in the sun, the occasional off campus shopping spree, chill sessions at the Bio-Soc on Fridays and much more! I think what aided to my feelings of Nostalgia was the epic return of Rascals (not so epic for me as I soon read the lable and saw that the product contained Beef gelatin) *sigh. Rascals were super awesome when I was younger. I especially liked that huge rascal figurine that was filled with rascals :) and always trying to throw a few up and see if I could catch them in my mouth lol (I think most of us still do this from time to time with pea...

Hello pretties :) The weekend is soon dawning upon us, and with that in mind time to put your best dress on! Got a sweet tooth? Check out this designer dress if you're going for a sweet look. It was an Alexander McQueen inspired dress Takes me back to the theme song "Gummy bears... bouncing here and there and everywhere" So apparently the dress is made out of 50 000 Gummies. I wouldnt want to be near any kids wearing a dress like this :/ The inspiration Le Outcome Designed by Hissa Igarishi and Sayuri Marakumi Another one of my recent favourites is the re-imagined Disney's Cinderella's glass slipper by infamous and by far my favourite shoe designer Christian Louboutin. I recently stumbled on something rather interesting, a big hole in the earth, :)  a crater that has been burning for somewhat 30 years now. I was watching a documentary on it and the crater is situated in Turkmenistan in the middle of the Karakum dessert. The area in which the crater is situated is said to be rich in natural gas. I'm sure it looks amazing at night.. Just makes me think how warm/hot it would be standing next to this burning crater... maybe the idea just seems appealing to me right now because we're in the middle of winter :/ none the less it would be awesome to visit this one day. I recently read about a cheap and effective rather quick and interesting method called "news paper nails". Here's a step by step method on how you can use news paper laying around in your house for some gorgeous nails. The Merch (merchandise) aka what you will need (felt so gangster typing merch lol) Rubbing alcohol ( normal vodka will do) Squares of newspaper, cut to rectangular pieces to fit your nails White/light pink/nude nail polish (I used a light candy floss pink.) Soooo post exams a lot has happened and I'm sooo excited for all the up coming posts so keep your eyes peeled!! As tradition goes I always spoil myself with a relaxing home or spa treatment and with my sister's graduation (which took place yesterday) she and I decided to book ourselves facials at The Body Shop after we shopped around for a bit. Don't be shy or unmotivated to wash your face in winter just because of the cold. A lot of people take less care of their skin in winter due to the cold. Our facials were done by Precious who was very helpful and friendly. She was also very knowledgeable on what products to use on our face as my sister has a combination skin and I have a sensitive skin.
